I couldn't break 12.5, stage 2 APR.. : r/Golf_R. What are your 1/4 mile times? I couldn't break 12.5, stage 2 APR.. Went to the drag strip the other day, and my best time was 12.5 and highest trap speed didn't break 107.. I've got a 2016 DSG R with APR stage 2 ecu & tcu and an APR downpipe.
TC on kills to much power and is about 1 second slower. My best 0-60 is 4.85. I have OEM all season Continentals. G farmer runs the tt470 at Stage 3 and finds it the perfect level of tune for his road/track car and he’s very concouse of staying below 500hp with his stock internals he runs a healthy 470hp and 460flbs . shockingly good setup.
If you need a manual, get a Miata. That is truly a car that requires a manual. 2: believing that crank walk is the reason to not get a Golf R is concerning. This may sound harsh, but if you’re going to buy into the internet hype of every chassis’ issues and discount it as a result, you’ll end up with a Honda Civic.
