Auto parts stores sell one for around $450 —keep in mind that these aren’t genuine Mazda parts. However, the smaller screen will still display similar driving information. It might not look as elegant or sophisticated as Mazda’s Active Driving Display, but it will get the job done!
CarPlay came out in 2019 for the Mazda 3. I had to do two things. 1.Have the most up to date firmware. 2. Buy an adapter from the dealership and install it. I bought some tools on Amazon to take apart the dash. It was very nice easy. They intentionally made this kit to fit the older model cars to upgrade them.
