Door open alert. I have a 2018 c3 Aircross flair which I bought new in November 2018. I had multiple problems which meant it was continually going back to the dealer. In June 2019 I drove 160 miles then didn't use the car for 3 days, then set off home on the 4th day. I drove approximately 80 miles then stopped at services for a break.

My wife's 2003 Yukon wouldn't lock the rear doors or hatch, but it would unlock. My problem was the lock relay was bad. There are two relays, one for lock and one for unlock. They are located in the fuse panel on the left side of the console. Open the drivers door and you will see a cover that pops off. Behind this are several fuses and relays. The boor door can also fail this way, as do the front side doors. Replacement requires the whole lock unit to be replaced at a cost of roughly £60 a lock, and a hours work. Helps if you have small hands. Requires a full strip down of the door and you will need the lock unit, trim clips (a few quid) and a trim removal tool (tenner).

Is there any method of locking a Citroen C3 without using the remote. Had this a number of times where you can press the lock button on the dash but as soon as you open a door the central locking unlocks all doors. You can then manually lock the drivers door but every other door is open. Just had

The doors have always been left open because the only lock on the car was damaged. However, now I decided to start fixing the car, and one of the first things I did was put a new battery in the remote control(car key) and started to lock the doors. Everything went well, until the day I had to remove the battery from the car to charge it.

There are tabs at the front that you do not want to break off. To unplug the wires - First remove the clips (mine were blue) that hold the plug in place. There is also a push catch on the plug that must be depressed to release the plug from the control panel. Fifth: My door had no push in 'buttons' or clips to hold the door panel in place.

01 2.0 - rear drivers door lock problem - cmetcalfe156 Hi, I have a similar problem on my 03 C5. The drivers side rear door stays locked but can be opened from the inside, However if I unlock the car from the outside using the remote fob, open any door, Once a door is open I press the lock button on the remote fob and the offending door unlocks!

The door locks began to falter one by one until three of the locks had to be operated manually or by using a key. I checked the fuses, the BCM and the lubrication on the locks. The door lock actuators were the real problem. She was quoted about $1000 to fix the problem and replace all three of the bad actuator/ door lock assemblies through the qEiZIhH.
