5D Mark IV video automatically stopped recording on fast SD cards. 02-27-2017 03:22 AM. My 5D Mark IV seems to randomly "automatically stopped recording" video when using various fast SD cards. It's strange, it might record for several minutes long clips without any issues but then suddenly stop on it's own on a new clip after a few seconds.

Where to Buy. The EOS 5D Mark IV professional DSLR camera builds on the powerful legacy of the 5D series, offering amazing refinements in image quality, performance and versatility.

Re: Canon mark IV 4K video question. No longer have a 5d iv but a 2 minute 4k Time lapse on a 6d ii takes over 7.5 GB. I found a 51 second video from the Mark iv which took 3.16 GB. This is consistent with the time-lapse size. This compares to about 800MB per minute using ALL-I and 250B using IPB.

Having 4K would have been nice, but even to this day the bulk of video content is uploaded at 1080p. On top of that, not only does the 5D Mark IV suffer from a horrible crop when shooting in 4K, but it has a fixed rear screen; the fact that the 6D Mark II has a fully articulating screen makes it a better tool for the kind of vlogging and videography I do.

Still hot with news on the Canon 5D Mark III being able to shoot continuous raw video footage with Magic Lantern, comparison videos are starting to hit the net. In this video, you'll see the Black
Mark IV: ISO sensitivity 50 - 102400, Center-weighted and center spot metering, Continuous shooting 7fps, Video at 4K 30,25,24 frames per second How does the Canon 5D perform shooting in low light? Canon EOS 5D Mark I has an ISO 50 to ISO 3200 range, and the Mark IV has a ISO 50-102400 range, so all of these models have a similar noise
Re: 5.7K anamorphic 5D Mark III footage. The Anamorphic 5,7k mode is about overall video quality and not about pixel peeping at 100% magnification. Masc's works is the perfect demonstration for that. Yes, high-resolution 1:1 pixel readout modes provide a slightly better quality - no jagged edges, but look at Masc's video. YjFG.
