GW 2 Efficiency says 41% have skyscale, but that is a sub section of the player base that has an average of 2000+ game hours. I guess for Anet it is a nice metric. Whoever does skyscale without quitting is trapped in here till the server shutdown. Has anyone in here, who defends the skyscale requirements, played a decent game in the last decade? The Living World Return achievements give 250 of each map currency upon the third tier of completion. After acquiring all the saddle components, Gorrik is waiting on the cliffs northeast of Fortress of Jahai in Jahai Bluffs. He appears on the map with the "collection" icon. Skyscale unlock achievements.
Not a great reward but at least something.Silverwastes: same thing, this time a slightly longer path and at the end is a new rift that does nothing (can not be repaired): no reward. I tried this rift the second day, same.Dry Top: very short path (like 5 nodes) no reward at the end.Blazeridge Steppes, pretty long path, easy, no reward. Didn't see any poll for this but a few topics complaining about the quest. Curious to see if there are indeed that many who dislike it or just a select few posters repeating it. As a veteran I don't understand the need for the skyscale. You can traverse a map at very very high speed with a griffon, and with the accumulated speed you can get vertical height if you need a little boost. I don't need a skyscale to go high, and the grind is too long for my taste to bother.

There are a reason and that is to get that one extra Shared Inventory unlocked if you already have all 28 SI that you can get (or less if you bough expansion which only gave one more SI; every expansion bought one by one add one SI slot).
Skyscale Care is a War Eternal achievement and the first part of the third step of the Skyscale collection. Care for your baby skyscale until it's large enough to leave the nest. Hint: Crafted in the Mystic Forge by combining a Charged Quartz Crystal with 5 Globs of Ectoplasm, 25 Bloodstone Dust, and 2 Slabs of Red Meat.
Guild Wars 2 Discussion. skyscale Weapon collection [Merged] can we increase frequency that the boxes drop from doing convergences. doing 150 for 1 box with it every 3 hours is literally 450 hours waiting around to get a weapon. Feels like a bit ridic. Did a large amount of farming rifts and got none to drop either.
