(The petrol autos will feel smoother and easier in stop-start traffic, while the dual-clutch autos offer quicker gear shifts). Like the naturally aspirated 2.0-litre petrol engine, the electric motor drives the fronts, with a power-split automatic transmission switching between the petrol engine, electric motor, both at The Ford Mondeo Hybrid Estate also isn’t quite as enjoyable to drive as other Mondeos, because it has low-rolling-resistance tyres. They do give a slight improvement in fuel consumption, but they also bring reduced grip. Even so, the Mondeo Hybrid is on a par with other hybrids and the suspension is more comfortable than in a Toyota Corolla
Alternatively I would do same as Roger if it was not a Getrag Powershift, but a normal torque converter type trans.
